"Is this hot?"  You must be joking!  Never ask that question of a chilehead!  Yes, hot sauces are hot.  That's why the word 'hot' is part of the name.

My sauces aren't just hot.  I take great care to make sure my sauces are full of flavor.  The only additives in my sauces is xanthan gum so the sauce doesn't separate.  My sauces are not liquified to a fine texture with 90% vinegar and a tad bit of pepper for a splash of effect!  So, take special care to shake your sauce thoroughly before using.  To make sure your sauce lasts a long time, be sure to refrigerate it after opening.  Whether it's my hot sauce or anyone elses, discard the entire bottle if the contents begin to darken in color.

ALL hot sauces are $5.00 per bottle.  Sorry for the shipping folks; all shipping is $4.00 covers both USPS shipping, shipping supplies, etc.  USPS rates are getting high!

Due to the low amount of bottles, I am limiting purchases to one bottle.  IF you are interested in ordering more than one at a time, please contact me at:  twagner [at] hoosierchile.com

Hoosier Carrot Juice hot sauce 2007 Blend

This hot sauce is made from Bulgarian Carrot and chimayo chile peppers.  Bulgarian Carrot chiles look similar to large baby carrots.  They are delicous!  The peppers used in this hot sauce were smoked over a slow fire with pecan wood chunks.  This gives the hot sauce a distinct nutty flavor.  Added for flavor and texture are cooked baby carrots, garlic, and onions.  Aged to perfection for 2 weeks prior to availabilty.
